The Guadalupe Mission is an iconic and representative building of Ciudad Juarez, for this reason the border community is preparing to dedicate a whole month of celebration for its 350 years of existence.
The series of events will begin on October 6, with the traditional liturgical act of the “Living Rosary”, at the Benito Juárez Stadium and will culminate on the 27th with a concert by the Esperanza Azteca Orchestra, in the atrium of the Cathedral.
The Organizing Committee, integrated by the Diocese, historians, professors of the University, and government officials, announced the calendar of activities, which include lectures, photographic exhibitions, and tours of various missions, both from El Paso and the former Paso del Norte region.
There will be a dinner with a theatrical performance of the dedication and an acknowledgment to the Franciscan community; also outdoor recitals so that the whole community can enjoy and be part of this great celebration.
