During the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the foundation of the Hospital of Community Health and Development of Ciudad Juárez AC (FEMAP) entity’s executives carried out the traditional gala evening called “One Night With the Stars” at the Grace Garden Event Center, in El Paso, Texas.
On his 13th anniversary and with the attendance of personalities and businessmen dedicated to altruistic work, a special recognition was given to her lifetime president Guadalupe Arizpe De la Vega as well as her counterpart in El Paso, Texas, Adair Margo, for the tireless work in favor of public health.
In addition, a medal was awarded to orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jack S. Haydermaan, for his contribution to the hospital center , and who, together with his medical team, has been working voluntarily since 1986.
The medical specialists Cynthia Fisher, Olga Delgado, and Fabian Calderon were also honored and distinguished for their contribution to this institution recognized nationally and internationally.
For 45 years, dozens of health professionals, volunteers and businesses from both sides of the border have joined the task of serving thousands of children and women who suffer from a disease and lack economic resources.
With a delicious dinner and live music, attendees and sponsors to the cause enjoyed a very special night alongside the so-called ‘Angels’ of border health.
