As a way to counteract racism and promote the unity among the community members of El Paso, Las Cruces and Ciudad Juarez, the YWCA of El Paso organization celebrated Martin Luther King’s day with the realization of the ninth edition of the ‘Race Against Racism’ race.

In a harmonious and family environment, the event took place at the Dodson Camp, where around 300 people participated in the five kilometers or ten kilometers competition and the recreational walk.

The commemoration of Martin Luther King’s birth is symbolic for the American families and, in these types of events, people from different nationalities get together.
