A warm reception accompanied by music, snacks, and good friends was offered in honor of the new director of the History Museum of El Paso, Dr. Vladimir von Tsurikov, who recently took office.
The event was held at the residence of the Herrera group, located on Mesa Street, where the guests enjoyed themselves with the new representative of this cultural space that gathers an extensive information on the history of the Texan region. Dr. Tsurikov was chosen to head the History Museum after an extensive selection process, since he has proven experience in historical issues and archiving.
In 2014, he took over the direction and presidency of the Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he introduced successful growth strategies. Among other important positions and activities, he is a lecturer and columnist in various media. In 2018, he received the Silver Archer Award from the Russian Cultural Center in Washington, DC, for the promotion of Cultural Diplomacy.
