A river is not a subject of division, at least this is what was demonstrated during the “Sister Cities Signature”, promoted by authorities of Ciudad Juarez and El Paso.
Armando Cabada, mayor of Ciudad Juarez, and Dee Margo, mayor of El Paso, made it clear that this agreement reaffirms the need to strengthen both borders by developing their virtues, as well as a healthy living.
The event was held at San Jacinto Plaza in El Paso and was ratified as part of an agreement made in 2005, in order to work on economy, environment and immigration issues of both El Paso and Ciudad Juarez agendas.
The union of three states, Chihuahua, Texas and New Mexico, which belong to two countries and a single region, must remain standing, according to a brotherhood policy agreed by both leaders.
